FASFEPA hosts two Forums each year, the Fall Forum and the Spring Forum. The Forums are presented in partnership with the Florida Department of Education and include technical assistance on the federal program applications and monitoring processes, as well as many other topics.
The primary focus of the FASFEPA Forums is to provide opportunities to:
- Collaborate with LEA peers on implementing programs contained in ESSA, including program implementation, the use of resources, effective strategies, budget development, monitoring, etc;
- Collaborate with LEA peers on the use of ESSER resources, administering and closing out the ESSER funds;
- Receive technical assistance from the Florida Department of Education; and
- Learn about legislative and regulatory changes relevant to federal education programs.
